Icelandic Filigree

Filigree has always been a significant part of my life. In my family, the Icelandic national costume is an important tradition, and most of my cousins and I each have our own. The costume and the jewelry that accompany it have always held a special place in my heart.

Filigree was what first drew me to goldsmithing. I fell in love with its timeless beauty, the extraordinary craftsmanship behind it, and the way this traditional technique can be woven into contemporary jewelry while still honoring its heritage.

To me, filigree has always looked as though it was crafted by elves, filled with tiny details that reveal themselves the longer you look. There is something almost magical about its delicate forms and intricate patterns. That sense of wonder continues to inspire every piece I create.

The collection is carefully handcrafted in sterling silver and 14k solid gold
